Kevin Durant cleared to practice again on Sunday, per report

After experiencing a setback in his recovery from the calf strain that has kept him out of the NBA Finals, Kevin Durant is once again cleared to practice.

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reported the news on Sunday, one day ahead of Game 5 in Toronto.

Shortly afterward, Steve Kerr confirmed that Durant is going to practice and do more than he had previously done during practice.

Durant has not played for the Golden State Warriors since pulling up lame in Game 5 of their Conference Semifinals series against the Houston Rockets. Golden State heads into Game 5 down 3-1 against Toronto, in desperate need of Durant’s offensive firepower.

Before his injury, Durant was having a phenomenal postseason, averaging 34.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.2 steals per game.
