After seeing left tackle David Bakhtiari down two beers at a recent Milwaukee Bucks game, quarterback Aaron Rodgers decided he wanted to face his teammate in a beer-chugging contest during Thursday’s Game 5 playoff matchup between the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks.
When you come at the king, you best not miss. Rodgers tried to come after Bakhtiari’s spot atop the throne of chugging beers in Milwaukee and he whiffed badly.
Perhaps Rodgers threw the contest in order to let the man who protects him from some of the game’s best pass rushers take home the win. Given Rodgers is from Chico though, not even being able to finish the beer feels like a slap in the face to his roots.
