The Arizona Cardinals already had a dinner date with Nick Bosa, and now they reportedly have a two-day visit set up with the Ohio State star.
Albert Breer of The MMQB reports the team with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft will host Nick Bosa on Thursday and Friday of this week.
This certainly gives the impression that Arizona isn’t dead set on taking Kyler Murray atop the draft as has been widely speculated.
If the Cardinals did, in fact, take Bosa instead of Murray, then it would almost certainly be with the No. 1 overall pick. Bosa is widely regarded as a top-3 player in this year’s draft, if not the top player overall.
At this point, it’s impossible to know what the Cardinals are doing. They’re muddying the waters enough to keep other teams on edge. And this could lead to quite the frenzy on draft night, because there’s going to be some trades made at or near the top of the draft based on what Arizona does.
