The big sports news Tuesday morning is that the AAF is all but certain to dissolve after just eight weeks of regular-season games. In the wake of that news, Johhny Manziel offered some words of advice to players in the league.
That’s some solid advise from a person who has some experience with the business side of this sport.
Manziel is a newcomer to the AAF, having signed on with the Memphis Express just a couple weeks back. Yet his presence sparked plenty of immediate interest in the league.
Apparently there was a whole lot more going on behind the scenes, however. The league is said to have lost a ton of money, and the AAF’s efforts to try and become legitimately connected to the NFL never came to fruition.
