Browns RB Duke Johnson demands a trade, per report

The Cleveland Browns are not yet done making trades. Earlier on Monday, Cleveland sent former second-round pick Emmanuel Ogbah to the Kansas City Chiefs for safety Eric Murray.

With the likes of Odell Beckham Jr. and Baker Mayfield taking part in the first day of off-season activities for the Browns, one notable name was absent. Running back Duke Johnson.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Johnson’s reps have demanded he be traded.

Johnson, 25, is the odd-man out in Cleveland’s backfield after the team signed Kareem Hunt earlier in the offseason.

Though, he promises to have a strong market. The former Miami (F) standout has put up 235 receptions in four seasons.

According to Cabot, the New York Jets, Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles all have interest in trading for Johnson.

It’s not yet known if the Eagles are still in on him after acquiring Jordan Howard in a trade with the Chicago Bears last week.
