After sitting out New Orleans win over the Denver Nuggets this past weekend, Pelicans star Anthony Davis was back on the court Monday night against the Utah Jazz.
The embattled All-Star made his presence known almost immediately — throwing down this thunderous alley-oop on a dish from Jrue Holiday.

As you can tell, Jazz big man and reigning Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert wanted absolutely none of AD on this. He did well to avoid the poster. That’s for sure.
Davis’ Pelicans career will be coming to an end here over the next five weeks or so after he demanded a trade from the team. This might be one of his last great highlights in a New Orleans uniform.
