Former Denver Broncos first-round pick Shane Ray is more than likely going to leave the team in free agency this spring. The Missouri native fell out of favor big time last season — recording just six tackles and one sack for the Broncos.
It now looks like Ray is over the team he suited up for over the past four seasons. Ray just hit up famed Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Katrina Jackson for some body art.
According to TMZ Sports, the pass rusher dropped $10,000 on this absolutely amazing tattoo.

Notice something? Yeah, Ray is paying homage to his home state Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals.
While the art work is something to behold, the story behind it is even more interesting. Ray obviously waited until he played his final game as a member of the Broncos to get this inked up on his leg.
Is Ray trying to tell us something here? We’re not too sure. But at the very least he wasn’t wearing this ink as a member of the Broncos. That wouldn’t have sat well in Mile High.
