The Arizona Cardinals didn’t send head coach Kliff Kingsbury or general manager Steve Keim to Oklahoma’s pro day, but they remain keenly interested in Kyler Murray.
So much so, in fact, that both Keim and Kingsbury are meeting with Murray on Oklahoma’s campus, per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
You don’t send both the head coach and general manager on a private trip to meet with a top prospect if you’re not seriously interested in said prospect.
Make no mistake about it: Arizona is eyeballing Murray in a big way. At this point, it seems clear he’s very much in play for the No. 1 overall pick, which leaves us to wonder what will happen to Josh Rosen, whom the team traded up to select No. 10 overall last year.
