Once the new league year started around the NFL on Wednesday, signings and trades could be made official.
Within minutes, the New York Giants officially announced that they have traded Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns. Interestingly enough, the social media post confirming said trade did not even mention OBJ’s name.
The #NYGiants have acquired Kevin Zeitler, Jabrill Peppers and a pair of draft picks from the Cleveland Browns (pending physicals).

Given the relatively small return New York got for the star receiver, it’s not a surprise the team was put on blast for the reported trade.
Now that it’s been made official, fans and others around the football world reacted in kind. It’s not terribly great for general manager David Gettleman and what might be the worst-run organization in the NFL.
