The Golden State Warriors have recently seen star opponents miss games due to “load management.” But that’s not a trend that coach Steve Kerr cares to join in on.
Marc J. Spears of ESPN quoted Kerr, who made it clear that the Warriors were not about load managing during Wednesday night’s game with the San Antonio Spurs.
“No loads will be managed on our part,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said about his team tonight.

This is in stark contrast to Golden State’s opponent. Spears had earlier noted that in addition to Demar Derozan (who’s out with a knee injury), LaMarcus Aldridge will miss Wednesday’s game with the Warriors due to load management.
On Saturday, it was Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James missed a game against Golden State for the same reason.
But at least for now, this is clearly not a concern for Kerr and company.
