Stephen A. Smith really, really needs to stop talking about the NFL. As if we didn’t already have ample proof he has no business discussing football, the ESPN personality once again proved it on Thursday morning discussing Le’Veon Bell.

When asked which teams should try and sign the soon-to-be free agent, Smith said the Carolina Panthers needed to make the move.

He seemed to forget that Carolina has, you know, one of the NFL’s best dual-threat running backs in the league (and maybe even in the history of the league). Then, when confronted with that information, he played it off like the Panthers needed both Bell and Christian McCaffrey because they “don’t have any receivers.”

Stick to the NBA, Stephen A.
