Report: Colin Kaepernick is not interested in playing for the AAF

The Alliance of American Football is reportedly still seeking out players to join their league.

Following a report that former NFL player Tim Tebow declined the opportunity, it would appear that free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick is not interested either.

Lindsay Jones of The Athletic noted that AAF CEO Charlie Ebersol reached out to Kap.

“I don’t know what transpired, but he’s obviously not playing, Jones said.”

On Monday, we published an article that highlighted five players who would spice up the AAF if they decided to join this league. Both Kaepernick and Tebow were among our options.

Apparently, neither one is interested. As it pertains to Kap, he remains unemployed by the NFL after last suiting up with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016. Since, a small handful of teams explored the possibility of signing Kap, but obviously nothing ever transpired.

Kap is currently engaged in a lawsuit against the NFL saying the league is colluding against him. It should be interesting to see if anything changes in Kap’s camp once free agency officially starts on March 13.
