The Jacksonville Jaguars need a quarterback. Nick Foles will be a free agent after the Philadelphia Eagles announced he won’t be tagged. It seems like a perfect match, and according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter it’s one that’s likely to happen.
A lot can change once free agency opens March 13, but for now, the Jacksonville Jaguars will head into free agency as the favorite to land Nick Foles.

This isn’t the first time that Jacksonville has been mentioned as the favorite to land Foles, either.
It makes sense. Despite what Tom Coughlin recently said about Blake Bortles, it’s expected that the Jaguars will move on from the former No. 3 overall pick.
Foles will be the most sought-after quarterback in free agency this year. He’s clearly the best option in a field that inspires very little confidence.
Whether he has what it takes to jump into a new offense like the one in Jacksonville and spark a run at the Super Bowl remains to be seen. Many feel he was a beneficiary of a quarterback-friendly system in Philly.
In seven NFL seasons, Foles has completed 61.6 percent of his passes for 11,165 yards with 68 touchdowns and 33 interceptions. He is also famously responsible for helping the Eagles win their only Super Bowl title after the 2017 season.
