It sure looks like all-time great Memphis Grizzlies star Marc Gasol will soon be calling another NBA city home here soon.
Mere days ahead of the NBA trade deadline, Shams Charania of The Athletic is reporting that the Grizzlies are in deep negotiations with the Charlotte Hornets in a trade surrounding the three-time All-Star.

Gasol, 34, has long been on the trade block. That’s been taken to a whole new level recently with the Grizzlies indicating that they plan to start what promises to be a long-term rebuild. In fact, his name was linked to the Toronto Raptors in a separate deal earlier on Tuesday.
Gasol would be a huge get for a Hornets team that has surprised onlookers this season. He’s averaging 15.7 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists on 44 percent shooting this season.
