WATCH: Luka Doncic embarrasses defender after being challenged

Phoenix Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. seemingly challenged Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic on Wednesday night. It did not go well for Oubre.

As Doncic was dribbling the ball up the floor, Oubre, who was waiting for him just across mid court, decided to slap the floor. Doncic responded the only way he knows how. After passing the ball, he quickly got it back on a give-and-go and nailed an off-balance shot right in Oubre’s face.

Floor slapping is something we see in college. In the NBA, it’s pretty rare. If anyone was wondering why the pros don’t do that so often, this sequence should answer that question.
