Nearly two months after he was disgruntled with the Minnesota Timberwolves and traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, All-Star Jimmy Butler is reportedly already clashing with head coach Brett Brown and challenging him over the team’s offensive system.

According to Ramona Shelburne and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Butler has aggressively challenged Brown over Butler’s role in the offense and caused further issues with the team’s chemistry.

According to the report, witnesses described a “disrespectful” confrontation by the All-Star guard during a film-room session in Portland.

The report further details that Brown, in addition to coaching, has had to try and mediate a relationship between Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons that has been tenuous at different times.

While Butler has played well for the 76ers and made them a serious threat in the Eastern Conference, it seems his arrival has added fuel to an already slow-burning fire in Philadelphia.
