It’s the Trevor Lawrence and Justyn Ross show in the first half of the Cotton Bowl as Clemson has jumped out to a two-score lead over Notre Dame.
The two true freshman had already combined on a gorgeous 52-yard touchdown earlier in the second quarter. Then, with under two minutes remaining before halftime, they connected once again on a 42-yard strike right down the seam.

Talk about a perfect pass from Lawrence. All Ross had to do was not drop the pass and he was in for a gimme touchdown.
This score put Clemson up 16-3 in a game that’s starting to look more and more like a blowout in the making.
