The Alabama Crimson Tide watched starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa get banged up early in the SEC Championship Game and then come back out to continue battling. Then, in the fourth quarter, the sophomore suffered a painful ankle/foot injury that caused him to exit the game for good.
Jalen Hurts, who lost his job last year in the title game to Tagovailoa, was then called into action.

He converted a couple of huge plays and got the Crimson Tide into the red zone. Then, he tied the game up with a brilliant throw to Jerry Jeudy.
