The Cleveland Browns have nothing to lose these days, so we won’t begrudge them for trying some trickery at home against the Atlanta Falcons.
Baker Mayfield pitched to rookie running back Dontrell Hillard, who appeared to be running a sweep. However, Mayfield was running the other way and started circling up the field on a wheel route, and Hilliard tried to hit him on a trick-play throw to the opposite side of the field.
Bad idea.
Falcons safety Damontae Kazee wasn’t fooled whatsoever. He undercut the poorly thrown pass and intercepted it.

Not long after that, Julio Jones made Cleveland pay with his second touchdown in two weeks, as the Falcons took a 10-7 lead.
