New York Knicks center Enes Kanter is making his return trip to Oklahoma City with his Knicks taking on the Thunder Wednesday night.
Kanter was dealt from the Thunder to New York in the Carmelo Anthony trade prior to the start of last season. He holds no ill will towards his former teammates and is good friends with some of them, Steven Adams included.
In a pretty hilarious scene Wednesday evening, Adams went up to Knicks head coach David Fizdale and told him to sub Kanter out. Why? Well, because he can’t play defense.
Steven Adams to David Fizdale during a stoppage: "Sub him (him being Enes Kanter) out. He can't play defense."

It was just the continuation of a friendly rivalry between the two on the court in OKC.
This is also a clear indication that the Thunder don’t view Kanter in the same way as cupcake boy, Kevin Durant. Yeah, we went there.
