Just days into his new job with the New Orleans Saints, receiver Dez Bryant reportedly suffered an injury on Friday the team fears could be a torn Achilles.
Dez Bryant was helped off the field at #Saints practice today after suffering what the team fears may be a torn Achilles, sources tell me and @RapSheet. He’s getting an MRI now.

This would be a huge blow to Bryant as he attempts to prove he’s still a viable player in the NFL right now. He reportedly was asked to lose some weight by the Saints before he plays and was ruled out of suiting up in Week 10.
Then, the injury hit.
If this is a season-ending injury for Bryant, one wonders if he’ll ever be able to play at a high level again.
For the Saints, it’s disappointing but in the long run they barely gave anything up to land the veteran receiver. So, just move on and look for help elsewhere.
