For the first time since suffering a hip injury in the team’s Week 9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco returned to practice on Thursday.
#Ravens QB Joe Flacco, battling a hip injury, is officially back at practice today. It’s likely Lamar Jackson this week, per @MikeGarafolo, but next week could be interesting.

Flacco has been replaced under center by rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson the past two weeks. In the process, Jackson has led Baltimore to consecutive wins while helping the team put up 500-plus rushing yards during that span.
While Flacco did return to action on Thursday, the expectation here is that Jackson will get the call Sunday against the Falcons in Atlanta. After that, it’s pretty much anyone’s guess as to how this will turn out.
Baltimore sits at 6-5 on the season and is right in thick of the AFC Playoff race. The team had dropped four of Flacco’s past five starts before he went down to injury.
