Despite his Jacksonville Jaguars being in the midst of a five-game winning streak, quarterback Blake Bortles has played mistake-free football over the past three games.
That’s something given he’s been the most mistake-prone quarterback since entering the NFL back in 2014.
In talking about his recent string of individual success, Bortles himself had a great take.
No interceptions in three straight games, what’s been different? #Jaguars QB Blake Bortles: “Throwing it to our team.”

Well, yeah. That’s obviously better than throwing to the opposing defense — something Bortles himself knows all about. He’s thrown 72 interceptions in 71 career games and leads the NFL interceptions for touchdowns during that span.
Though the quarterback has been interception free for the past three games, all Jaguars losses. It’s the longest streak of his career without a pick.
It’s something for a team that’s in the midst of a lost season.
