Trevor Lawrence was scrambling, attempting to run for a first down in the second quarter against Florida State, when he was blasted by Hamsah Nasirildeen.
The sophomore defensive back lowered his helmet and hit Lawrence directly in the head/neck area, and upon review he was ejected for targeting.

In a game that already saw Clemson leading, 14-0, this was a brutal blow for the Seminoles. Right after the penalty, Florida State was hit with pass interference, and the Tigers scored a touchdown shortly afterward to go up 21-0.
