Late in the third quarter of Thursday’s game against the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins receiver DeVante Parker came away with one of the strangest receptions you’ll ever see.
Facing a third-and-11, Miami quarterback Brock Osweiler appeared to find Jakeem Grant for the conversion. But Grant was hit as he was pulling the ball in. The ball came flying out after hitting the helmet of Houston’s Natrell Jamerson. That’s where Parker was Johnny on the spot. The ball fell into his hands for a 46-yard completion.

While the Dolphins couldn’t find the end zone, the play did lead to points. The drive ended on a 41-yard field goal from Miami’s Jason Sanders to cut the Texans’ lead to 28-20.
