The Chicago Bears needed a 55-yard Hail Mary to force overtime against the New England Patriots on Sunday. They got a 54-yard completion, instead.
Mitchell Trubisky launched the ball towards the goal line. Kevin White emerged amidst a sea of Patriots with the ball, but he was one yard short. The New England defenders then brought him down before he could cross the goal line.
The Bears were *that* close 😮

That Hail Mary to end the game is a good metaphor of the #Bears season.

Makes you wonder AGAIN why Nagy & #Bears didn’t throw it into endzone at the end of the 1st half???— Silvy (@WaddleandSilvy) October 21, 2018
