The New York Jets are reportedly releasing veteran receiver Terrelle Pryor, who has a groin injury and is expected to be out a couple of weeks.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news on Saturday, noting the Jets are interested in bringing Pryor back when he’s healthy but that other teams are also likely to be interested.
Since his breakout season with the Cleveland Browns in 2016, Pryor has struggled to stay healthy and productive. He missed seven games last year with Washington and caught just 20 passes for 240 yards and one touchdown.
In six games thus far with the Jets in 2018, Pryor has caught 14 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns.
