LeBron James took to the court as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers in a regular season game for the first time Thursday night in Portland.
Despite having yet to play a meaningful game before their opener against the Blazers, it’s pretty clear that King James has already left a huge impression on his young teammates.
Here, we see second-year forward Kyle Kuzma wearing the same exact shoes that Mr. James wore during his very first NBA practice as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 2003.

That is some absolutely amazing stuff right there. No matter how some things change over the years, other things remain the same. James was a larger-than-life figure when he suited up with the Cavaliers for the first time.
His brand has now been taken to a whole new level in Hollywood. Kuzma was seven years old when James wore these shoes at his first practice. Talk about coming full circle.
