Ezekiel Elliott parties with Conor McGregor after Sunday’s win

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off one of the most impressive wins we’ve seen from the team in years.

It was pure domination in Dallas on Sunday, with the Cowboys defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars by the score of 40-7. Third-year back Ezekiel Elliott put up 106 yards and a score in the game, continuing what has been a great season for the much-maligned youngster.

Following the game, Elliott decided it made sense to hang out with former UFC champ and known goon Conor McGregor while getting his drink on at a local nightclub.

“Conor McGregor led the victory party for the Dallas Cowboys after the big win on Sunday — raging with Ezekiel Elliott at a local nightclub,” TMZ Sports noted. “We’re told the guys arrived around midnight — and Conor was walking around the place with a bottle of Proper 12 whiskey in his hand, continuing the endless publicity push for his new booze company.”

Normally this wouldn’t be an issue. That’s until we realize exactly what McGregor has been involved in over the past calendar year. Back in April, McGregor was charged with three counts of criminal mischief, two counts of assault, one count of attempted assault, five counts of menacing and one count of reckless of endangerment stemming from a bus attack incident at a UFC event in Brooklyn.

Then, earlier this month, McGregor and his team got into an ugly incident with opponent Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team after Conor was dropped by his rival at a UFC event in Las Vegas.

It’s just not good optics for Elliott, who himself was suspended six games last season after multiple alleged incidents with his ex-girlfriend. At the very least, it shows a lack of maturity on Elliott’s part. It’s all about the company you keep, Zeke.
