Los Angeles Rams star receiver Cooper Kupp went down hard with a knee injury during Sunday’s win over the Denver Broncos, and he might miss a bit of time because of it.
Kupp was dragged down from behind on an illegal horse-collar tackle, which caused his knee to get torqued underneath him as he came down awkwardly on his back.
After being evaluated, Kupp reportedly “could miss some time” with the injury, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Rams’ WR Cooper Kupp suffered an MCL sprain Sunday and his team thinks he “could miss some time, but not sure yet,” per source.

Kupp is one of the league’s best receivers. He has tremendous rapport with Rams quarterback Jared Goff and has hauled in 30 passes for 438 yards and five touchdowns already this year.
So, if he were going to miss time, the Rams would certainly miss his presence on the field.
That being said, there are so many other weapons in Los Angeles’ arsenal that the Rams would probably figure out a way to get by without him.
In particular, All-Pro running back Todd Gurley shined on Sunday when Kupp exited the game, finishing with 208 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
