It was an awful throw, across his body and to the other side of the field — essentially one of those throws quarterbacks are taught never to make.

Ouch. Not how Darnold wanted to start things, but it’s not 1st time that’s happened … Jameis Winston had his first pass intercepted & returned for a TD in 2015. That was the first time a rookie's first throw was returned for a TD since Brett Favre — then with Atlanta — in 1991.
