Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay had our jaws on the floor with a recent video he did with Bleacher Report in which he showed off an incredible ability to recall past plays.
Much like we’ve seen with LeBron James in the NBA, McVay can remember every detail about pretty much every play he’s ever been a part of in the NFL.

Speaking about this with Lindsey Thiry of ESPN, McVay had some interesting insight into how he can do this.
It starts with one key element: “I have no life,” he said. “Other than I love football.”
He also revealed that his process involves continually going back and revisiting plays from his past, which is how and why he knows them so intimately.
“It’s not like I’m just recalling it and that’s the only time you’ve ever done it from,” he said. “These are things that we as coaches always go back through. So, it’s kind of something that you’re always revisiting, especially when it’s relevant plays.”
Now here comes the kicker.
McVay said that, while his memory is flawless when it comes to football, he’s absolutely lost outside the game.
“It is not a joke,” McVay said, “when I say I really do not remember anything else.”
That’s priceless.
