The Georgia Bulldogs got a huge early break Saturday against South Carolina. Deandre Baker benefited from a horrible dropped pass, picking off Jake Bentley’s and taking it back 56-yards for six points.
This score put the Bulldogs up 7-0 very early in the game. However, Baker actually dropped the ball before it crossed the goal line, but Georgia kicked the point-after attempt through the uprights before the play could be reviewed.

Rewound to see if the ball got recovered by a Georgia player at the end and I don’t think so. The cameras cut away from the ball and then Bentley was flipping it back to the ref after the celebration.

In a huge game like this, this mistake could have lasting ramifications.
