Raiders announce Khalil Mack trade without mentioning his name, Twitter reacts

Marshawn Lynch

The Oakland Raiders formally announced the big Khalil Mack trade Saturday evening on Twitter, but hilariously they did not mention his name.

Instead, they wrote, “We have acquired first-round selections in the 2019 and 2020 NFL Draft via a trade with Chicago.”

Granted, if you click the link they provide in the tweet, Mack is mentioned. That being said, that’s what we call burying the lede.

The responses to this tweet are priceless. Here are some of our favorites.
