Although the 2018 NFL season is off to a forgettable start for the Arizona Cardinals, they’re not going to accept any additional losses on their record.
ESPN5, the home of SportsCenter Philippines, erroneously tagged the team instead of the St. Louis Cardinals following the MLB club’s loss to the Milwaukee Brewers.
And the football Cardinals wouldn’t let it slide.

So far this season, Arizona has lost to Washington 24-6, Los Angeles Rams 34-0 and Chicago Bears 16-14. This winless stretch has effectively doomed the Cardinals and any fleeting optimism about the playoffs.
Arizona’s latest loss happened during an unsuccessful debut for Josh Rosen. The 2018 first-round selection will be the starter moving forward, but Arizona is likely to pick up a handful of losses along the way.
The NFL’s Cardinals probably wouldn’t mind stealing wins from the baseball team’s record. On the other hand, St. Louis has 70 losses, too.
Arizona wants nothing to do with that. There are enough problems in the desert.
