Buffalo Bills receiver Kevin Benjamin had some harsh words for Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton just recently.
Prior to the preseason meeting between the two teams, Newton confronted his former teammate in an apparent attempt to talk things over. The receiver didn’t seem too eager to talk to his former quarterback in the exchange, which you can see here.
The Twitter world sent plenty of praise Newton’s way, while slamming Benjamin pretty hard.
I actually have a lot of respect for how Cam handled that. Did it to Benjamin’s face. Not through the media. Made his point.

I respect Cam way more for attempting to talk and resolve this….multiple times. https://t.co/VQWcd9AlmJ

I enjoyed this content. Cam using his hand to tell the third wheel guy to bounce so he and Kelvin could have words was cold blooded. Loved it. https://t.co/cAWLmpfkKS

Cam might not be accurate, but the hands behind the back was a boss move. He is Kelvin’s landlord now. https://t.co/1dMwGV24dS

If @kelvinbenjamin gonna talk trash about @CameronNewton to the media, be man enough to talk to him in his face. I'm with Cam on this one! https://t.co/rllIgKnr85

I LOVE Cam getting into Kelvin’s face. Kelvin wants no part of this but if you’re going to talk 💩 then you got to be able to take the heat. He couldn’t. pic.twitter.com/B2EDZHLCFj

We do wish these two would share the field at some point.
Cam might play a little free safety tonight over this disrespect pic.twitter.com/IR22Mr0j6D

It’s safe to say that this beef is not over just yet.
