Tiger Woods hasn’t hit a fairway all day to this point, and on the 9th hole Sunday he once again shanked his drive into a tough spot near the cart path.
Woods needed a perfect shot to get his ball anywhere close to the cup on his approach, and he pulled it off, hooking the ball out of a nasty lie to within birdie range.

Then, with the pressure of the tournament bearing down upon his shoulders, Tiger Woods once again showed why he’s the game’s most-watched star.

This magnificent birdie put Woods within one shot of the lead with nine holes to play.
A birdie. A fist pump. A roar you could hear across the entire course.
Tiger's one back….

Tiger is 0-fer on fairways but has only putted 10 times through 9. Unbelievable. Going to be a great finish.#PGAChamp #PGAChampionship #PGAChampionship2018

Sure, Tiger could be leading the tournament right now but it's been a lot more fun watching him go in and out of the trees all day.
