Report: Browns trading former first-round pick Corey Coleman to Bills

Corey Coleman Cleveland Browns

The Buffalo Bills are working to supply their quarterbacks with more weapons, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports they pulled off a trade with the Cleveland Browns to acquire former first-round pick, Corey Coleman.

Coleman has been rumored to be on the trade block for quite some time now. It seems the relationship these two teams have built recently had something to do with the deal being done now.

To this point in his career, the 15th overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft has failed to live up to his draft hype. In his first two seasons, Coleman tallied 56 catches for 718 yards and five touchdowns.

Hopefully a change of scenery will be just the ticket for this former Baylor star to kick-start his NFL career.

This news could mean that Josh Gordon is on his way back to the team as well. He’s been away from camp so far due to reasons that have yet to be fully disclosed — something that has reportedly vexed other teams.
