Washington Redskins running back Derrius Guice wasn’t the only promising rookie to see his season cut short in his NFL debut Thursday evening.
Fellow 2018 draft class member, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Deon Cain, suffered a torn ACL during the team’s win over the Seattle Seahawks.

A sixth-round pick out of Clemson, the 6-foot-2 Cain was having himself a tremendous camp prior to suffering this devastating injury.

That’s just all sorts of unfortunate. Selected much lower than most experts had expected, Cain put up 130 receptions for 2,040 yards and 20 touchdowns in three seasons with the Tigers.
He’ll now sit out his entire rookie season and look to come back healthy next summer.
