According to multiple media reports from the Jacksonville area in Florida, there was a mass shooting Sunday afternoon at Jacksonville Landing during a Madden tournament.
News 4 in Jacksonville, a local NBC News affiliate, it reporting that at least four people have died with upwards of a dozen people being shot.
“Early reports say three were shot inside Chicago Pizza and others may have been wounded in the gunfire,” the reported read. “Witnesses tell News4Jax that several ambulances, firefighters and police officers are on the scene and roads are being blocked off downtown near the Jacksonville Landing.”
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department confirmed that a mass shooting has taken place and warned locals to stay away from the area.

The incident itself was reportedly caught on tape as players at the Madden tournament were live-streaming the event.
