Paul Richardson Jr. takes shots at Seahawks while praising Washington’s culture

Well here’s something you don’t see every day. Washington Redskins receiver Paul Richardson Jr. absolutely adores the culture he’s experiencing with his new club.

The Redskins aren’t known for their shining cultural achievements. In fact, this franchise has been one of the biggest dumpster fires the NFL has to offer, pretty much ever since Dan Snyder purchased the club from legendary owner Jack Kent Cook.

With that in mind, it’s pretty stunning to see this kind of praise being thrown Washington’s way. But what’s just as notable here is how Richardson is taking shots at his former team, the Seattle Seahawks.

“It’s more of a family here.”

“Guys aren’t tearing each other down.”

Whew.

This isn’t even all that subtle. Richardson is making it clear that his experience in Seattle wasn’t a good one.

Whether he ends up feeling any different about the culture in Washington long term remains to be seen. But right now, it sure seems like he’s just happy to not be in Seattle.
