LeSean McCoy had his time at the podium ahead of Buffalo Bills training camp on Thursday, and he refused to address a pending investigation into his ex-girlfriend’s home attack other than to acknowledge that it is taking place.
#Bills RB LeSean McCoy: Right now, it's an open investigation and I'll leave it at that. Right now my focus is right here, this team, and building this thing together.

McCoy: I’ve been through a lot and I’m still here. All I can really do is train hard and not let anything distract me. That would be cheating my teammates. #Bills

When pressed to make a statement about the investigation, McCoy shut down the reporter and made it clear that any thing he discussed would be “football related.”
#Bills RB LeSean McCoy is veering away from any and all questions about the current investigation. Not at all surprising.

McCoy is being investigated due to an attack that was made against his ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, at a home he owns. She alleged that McCoy orchestrated the attack, citing specific details that had come up between them in the past regarding jewelry he wanted back.
In the meantime, McCoy has hired a high-powered attorney (the same man who represented Ray Lewis and Ben Roethlisberger) and has resumed his normal practice routines.
Multiple times on Thursday reporters attempted to get McCoy to make a comment, and it was clear he was frustrated by that line of questioning. That being said, it’s hardly surprising that McCoy wasn’t going to discuss the investigation, likely following legal advice on the matter.
The Bills made it clear earlier in the day that they believe McCoy will be with them long term, based on conversations they have had with the league.
Brandon Beane said LeSean McCoy is ready to roll and based on the Bills' conversations with the league, he doesn't see that changing.
