After the Los Angeles Dodgers initially planned to have Clayton Kershaw make a rehab start this weekend, the team has now decided to skip the minors altogether.
According to Andy McCullough of The Los Angeles Times, Kershaw is now set to start for the Dodgers on Saturday against the New York Mets.

The 30-year-old southpaw, who made a return to the mound on May 31 after nearly a month of missed action with a biceps injury, returns after he missed most of June with a lower-back injury.
Kershaw returns to a 2.76 ERA, 53 strikeouts and a 1.12 WHIP in eight starts this season. While his return is much needed for Los Angeles, his durability will remain a question mark going forward.
