The Cleveland Browns are a legitimately intriguing team heading into the 2018 NFL season, and HBO is planning to highlight the AFC North squad on this year’s edition of “Hard Knocks.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news, citing a source, and said the news will be official Thursday.

HBO’s decision to pick Cleveland is no surprise, since the team finished 0-16 last season but has revamped its roster.

The front office made a flurry of moves during the offseason, trading for Tyrod Taylor and Jarvis Landry while shipping off DeShone Kizer. The Browns also used the No. 1 overall selection in the 2018 NFL draft on Baker Mayfield.

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch, who previously expressed disinterest in “Hard Knocks” featuring the team in 2018, is likely relieved at the news.
