Robby Anderson is once again in the news for the wrong reasons, as he’s reportedly been hit with an arrest warrant after failing to appear in court Tuesday, per Andy Slater of SlaterScoops.
The court appearances stems from a January traffic arrest. Initially, Anderson was charged for a litany of crimes, including harming a public servant and aggravated fleeing police, but those charges were dismissed. He’s since had the felony charges dropped and is being charged with reckless driving.
Anderson has a long history of traffic-related arrests, which you can read more about here.
On the football field, the wide receiver is coming off of a good season for the Jets. He caught 63 passes for 941 yards with seven touchdowns in 2017. Anderson is currently set to enter the final year of his rookie contract and is slated to earn just over $630,000 in 2018.
