On the same day that he officially retired from the NFL following a Hall of Fame worthy 15-year career with the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Witten is now making his way to ESPN.
Previous reports suggested that Witten would join the four-letter network’s Monday Night Football broadcasting crew.
Said reports have now been confirmed by ESPN itself.

“We want to congratulate Jason Witten on a Hall of Fame caliber career with the Dallas Cowboys and we are thrilled to welcome him to ESPN and Monday Night Football,” ESPN VP of Content Connor Schell said.
Per the press release and the NFL schedule, Witten will make his return to AT&T stadium in Dallas to call the Cowboys Week 9 Monday Night Football game against the Tennessee Titans.
That promises to be interesting for both the all-time tight end and his now former team.
