Bills release Richie Incognito from reserve/retired list

The Buffalo Bills have released guard Richie Incognito, who was previously place on the reserve/retired list after he announced he would be retiring.

Of course, Incognito retracted that statement not long after he made it, and news came out that he was unhappy with his contract.

The Bills didn’t take kindly to any of it, however, which general manager Brian Beane made crystal clear with comments after the fact.

Based on the way things went down, it seems like Incognito ended up getting his wish, now that he’s free. At this time, it remains unclear what Incognito’s intentions will be going forward, however. He is coming off a strong 11th season as a pro in which he started all 16 games for Buffalo in 2017.

We know at least one Bills player won’t be happy about this development.
