After failing to bring Jimmy Graham back to the Bayou, the New Orleans Saints have reportedly signed veteran tight end Benjamin Watson.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports it’s a one-year deal.
TE Benjamin Watson agreed to a one-year deal with the Saints, per source.

The 13-year pro was very productive as a member of the Baltimore Ravens in 2017. He caught 61 passes for 522 yards and four touchdowns last season. Over the course of his career, he’s hauled in 495 receptions for 5,485 yards and 42 touchdowns.
Perhaps just as importantly, Watson is one of the most respected men in the entire league. He was a finalist for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award last year, which was ultimately won by J.J. Watt, and is known for his community work off the field. He should fit in nicely with the locker room in New Orleans, and be a productive player for the Saints in 2018.
