After top running back prospect Saquon Barkley ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the combine, the NFL meshed together this video collage of recent running back performances including Barkley’s.

As we can see, Penn State’s Barkley beat out the aforementioned running backs. And in last place was New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara. Though, still a lightning fast guy, Kamara took coming in last like a champ. He shared this comical tweet, calling himself “slow.”

We all know Kamara is anything but slow. He almost literally lit up the field and torched many defenders in his rookie season. It’s a performance that saw him record a ridiculous 1,554 scrimmage yards and 13 touchdowns en route to earning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.
The Saints got a real gem here considering they did not select Kamara until the third round.
As for Barkley, he is expected to drop off the draft board very quickly in April. Some have him pegged as a No. 1 or 2 overall pick. That’s even more solid now after his stunning combine performances.
