After his release from the Miami Dolphins became official Wednesday afternoon, the expectation was that former All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh would draw a ton of interest on the free agent market.

Well, that didn’t take too long. According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, both the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks have already showed interest in the 31-year-old defensive tackle.

Of the two teams, Seattle has the best cap situation to be able to absorb the type of contract Suh will demand in free agency. The team is currently north of $20 million under the cap. Meanwhile, Dallas finds itself in a precarious position at less than $1 million under the cap.

Despite not living up to his lofty contract in South Beach, Suh is still one of the better interior defensive linemen in the game. In his three seasons with Miami, the five-time Pro Bowler recorded 181 tackles, 15.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. He’s likely going to demand a deal north of $10 million annually.
